D. What to bring and not bring in your park bag
Carrying a bag with you in the parks is a personal choice. Some prefer not to and can fit everything they need in their pockets. If you choose not to bring a bag, then you will be able to bypass the security screening portion of the bag check lines. Should you choose to carry a bag with you, you’ll want to make sure you have everything you will need. It’s also important to note that any backpack bag or purse can be carried on to all rides. Every ride has enough space to place your bag at your feet. The only ride where you will need to place your bag in a locker (free of charge) is Kali River Rapids in Animal Kingdom since it is a ride with a high probability of getting soaked.
You will find a park bag packing list below, which is part of a series of printables that you will get when you sign up on my email list. Before I tell you what you should bring in your park bag though, first let’s cover the items you are not allowed to bring with you in to the parks. Here are some of the important items to mention:
- Selfie Sticks
- Firearms
- Toy guns/blasters
- Wagons
- Coolers (with or without wheels)
- Alcohol
- Folding Chairs
- Glass Containers
For a complete list of their restricted items, you can take a look at this link on their website.
