The Disney World Refurbishment Schedule

Things are constantly changing at Disney and before you arrive, make sure you are in the know. Be up to date with the Disney World refurbishment schedule so that you are not surprised when you arrive. Here is a complete list of all the closings and refurbishments currently taking place:

• Splash Mountain, permanently closed
• Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, opening in Late 2024
• Liberty Square Riverboat, closed August 21-29, 2023

• Jedi Training, permanently ended
• Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks, permanently ended
• Voyage of the Little Mermaid, currently closed

• Harmonious, permanently ended
• Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, coming Fall 2023

• Primeval Whirl, permanently closed

Animal Kingdom Lodge

• From February 1, 2023 through September 2023, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village will be undergoing some general refurbishment.

All-Star Movies

• From January 2024 through April 2024, Fantasia Pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will be closed for routine maintenance.

All-Star Music

• None

All-Star Sports

• Room refurbishments are currently underway

Art of Animation

• None

Contemporary Resort & Bay Lake Towers

• None

Beach Club Resort

• None

BoardWalk Resort

• Refurbishments are currently underway to update the room and general areas of the resort

Caribbean Beach Resort

• From January 2024 through April 2024, the Fuentes del Morro Pool at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will be closed for routine maintenance

Coronado Springs Resort

• None

Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground

• None

Grand Floridian

• Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is currently undergoing refurbishment, including the lobby and main guest areas
• 1900 Park Fare temporarily closed
• Garden View Tea Room temporarily closed

Old Key West Resort

• None

Polynesian Village Resort

• There is currently construction to a new area of the resort which does not affect the current guest areas

Pop Century Resort

• None

Port Orleans French Quarter

• From January 2024 through April 2024, the Doubloon Lagoon pool at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will be closed for routine maintenance

Port Orleans Riverside

Saratoga Springs

Wilderness Lodge

• Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will be refurbished beginning April 2024

Yacht Club Resort
