Are you having trouble choosing your Epcot rides? First-time visit and you have no clue which ones will be good for your family? Look no further, this guide will give you all the details you need to decide which rides are best for you. I have it separated in two parts – Future World & World Showcase.

I have provided you with a description of each ride, along with important facts. I have also provided some ratings to help you decide if it is the type of ride you are looking for. Each ride also has an on-ride video that you could take a look at to get a complete feel for the ride.

Future World

Spaceship Earth

Take a trip through history to learn about how man has progressed. This is a slow moving ride in the Epcot ball that will take you through scenes to see how humans have evolved and progressed at various times in history. It’s quite interesting to see how we got to where we are today, a fun history lesson!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

This is a thrill-packed indoor family roller coaster. Take off on an intergalactic chase through space and time on this first ever Disney reversed launch coaster. The coaster also rotates 360 degrees while you are riding so that you can focus on all the action!

Journey Into Imagination with Figment

This is a ride for the whole family and it will give you a chance to ride through the senses lab. Learn all about your senses and how they work. Figment adds a fun touch to it to make it fun and silly for the kids.

Living with the Land

A slow moving boat ride that will take you for a behind the scenes look at how they grow their food and plants at Epcot. You’ll get to see how they grow and cultivate the food that they serve at their very own Epcot restaurants. Very interesting and educational for the kids!

RELAUNCHED! Mission: Space

Ever wonder what it would be like to go up in space? This ride will give you that experience. There are two levels. Green is the milder version which will give you the experience of orbiting Earth. Orange is the more intense version where you will get to experience a spacecraft launch with g-forces. Word of caution – if you are claustrophobic, you may want to skip this ride.

The Seas with Nemo and Friends

A slow moving ride where you will get to ride in a seashell under the sea. You’ll get to relive the Finding Nemo movie and see all of your favorite characters throughout the ride.

Soarin’

This ride will give you the feeling of what it’s like to fly. You’ll fly all around the world over amazing scenes and famous landmarks. The seats are raised up in front of a giant Imax screen and you’ll begin an amazing adventure. One of the most captivating rides at Disney World!

Test Track

Get ready for a fast ride in a race car! The indoor portion of the ride takes you through a bunch of adventures where you’ll get to test the speed and agility of your vehicle. Then you embark on the outdoor track where you speed around and see how fast you can go. Great ride for the thrill seeker!

Turtle Talk with Crush

This isn’t a ride, but a must-do for any Finding Nemo fan. It’s a show in a theatre where you will get to talk live with Crush the turtle. It’s great fun for both kids and parents, as it is quite comedic. You’ll come out of there with a big smile of your face.

World Showcase

Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros

This is a slow moving boat ride that takes you through ‘Mexico’. You join Donald and his 2 crazy duck friends as they go on adventures through Mexico.

Frozen Ever After

Join Elsa & Anna and all the characters from the movie Frozen as you take a boat ride through Arendelle. You’ll get to visit Elsa’s ice palace and finish it with a fun drop at the end of the ride. You may get a little wet!

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

Join Chef Remy and his pals as they go on an adventure in the kitchen! You will shrink down to the size of a rat and become a “little” chef at Gusteau’s in this 4D adventure.
